Chair: Sanura Young
Sanura YoungSanura Young is the Economic Development Chairperson for the Branch, and provides a wide range of support on various committees. As an entrepreneur who has worked with government, corporate, and not-for-profit organizations, she brings energy towards the planning of events and the ability to execute. She currently is the Owner and President of the Momentum Agency and has also been recently appointed as the President of the Quad County African American Chamber of Commerce. Sanura is committed to the NAACP because of the tradition and deeply-rooted legacy in the struggle for justice. Sanura is married with three children. 3.   Implementing local efforts to support the growth of Business ownership
4.   Encouraging greater participation in the trade union movement
5.   Increase employment opportunities and awareness with private and public entities
5.   Research and establish relationships with private and public entities
5.   Encourage business development and home ownership
