2013 Sydney Finley Memorial Scholarship Application

Core Responsibilities

1. Seek to eliminate segregation and other discriminatory practices in public education

2. Investigate local educational conditions affecting minority groups

3. Promote parent involvement

4. Identify and help to provide resources for development of minority candidates for school board positions

5. Recommend to the Executive Committee matters that require direct action

6. Manage the Syd Finley Scholarship process, including selection of awardees and tracking alumni

7. Complete monthly report
