Chair: Andy Williams Jr.

Andy Williams Jr. is the current Chairperson for Housing. He is also a freelance paralegal and consumer rights advocate who strives to educate and protect consumers against abusive lending. He currently works at Financial Empowerment, Inc., a loan modification company performing forensic loan audits for their clients facing foreclosure. He is studying Pre Law at Lewis University and plans to attend Law School in 2012 to become a consumer and civil rights attorney to help defend against the abusive lenders and discrimination. Core Responsibilities
1. Educate people to understand their housing rights and interpret rules and regulations
2. Present feedback to the community on concerns
3. Raise issue or concern with local legislation to consider the interests of all people
4. Recommend to the Executive Committee matters that require direct action
5. Connect with National ⁄ State representation to get further direction and advice, be in regular communication
