Chair: Jeanne Thompson

Jeanne Thompson is a member of the DuPage County Branch, NAACP, and currently serves as Chairperson of Media & Publicity. A long-time resident of the western suburbs, Jeanne is a seasoned professional in the areas of PR, media relations and marketing communications for the corporate and nonprofit sector. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications from Illinois State University and during her time there, she participated in the university's Public Relations Student Society of America organization, as well as volunteered for the student chapter of the NAACP. Since joining the Dupage County Branch this year, she has been very excited to provide her skill to the benefit of the Branch and describes herself as having had an appreciation for the art and science of communications for the past 13 years.
