Chair: Valerie Talton

Valerie Talton is a wife, mother, entrepreneur and child advocate. She sits on the diversity board of District 308. Equality is the driving force behind her company, 2Fabulous, which is a party planning service for little girls. Her passion for helping the youth, led her to Co-Chair the NAACP Youth Council. Valerie has more than 15 years experience working with the youth. She was a youth leader at Second Baptist Church where the Talton family are members. She is very active in community service and feels that being a part of the NAACP will help driving the fight for equality closer to the forefront. Valerie is responsible for exposing the youth to opportunities demonstrating leadership. Contact Valerie Talton at

Core Responsibilities
3. To consist of Youth Council Advisor(s), Youth Unit President(s), and five persons appointed by branch president.
4. Drive Youth Membership.
5. Connect with National ⁄ State representation for further advice.
6. The Youth council advisor shall chair the committee and oversee the Youth council activities, financials, etc. to ensure compliance and appropriate direction
7. Identify Youth Leaders for NAACP Leadership Program
8. Work to identify College Students for membership ⁄ involvement
9. Complete monthly report
