President: Brandon Soto
Brandon Soto is a Junior at Oswego East High School, and is very excited to be the current Youth Council President.  He aspires for a career in Law Enforcement, specifically the FBI.  Activities that he participates in are football, track & field, as well as being a member in the government club.  Brandon has 4 siblings: an older brother currently deployed for the U.S. Air Force, an older sister in college, a younger sister in elementary, and a little baby brother.  Brandon looks forward to working with the community and engaging in activity to bring awareness to equality, education and youth leadership.  Contact Brandon Soto at soto396@comcast.net
Core Responsibilities
1.   Objective is to follow the same mission and values of the NAACP
2.   To inform youth of the problems affecting African-Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities
3.   to advance the economic, educational, social and political status of African-Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples
4.   To stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color's contribution to civilization
5.    To develop an intelligent and militant youth leadership. These objectives shall be pursued in accordance with the policies of the Association.
