LaToya ForresterLa Toya Forrester is a professional education consultant and the Founder and Director of the Young Visionaries College Preparatory Academy, an entity that is committed to preparing students for college. She has been teaching for 14 years and has a great commitment to education and empowering youth in the community. She serves the DuPage NAACP as the Youth Works Chair/Youth Advancement Coordinator, and has been very instrumental in the success of the ACT-SO program. Core Responsibilities
1.   Develop Synergies and unique opportunities between Youth Council, Youth Works, ACT-SO and the future College Chapter
2.   To develop programs and initiatives that create advancement opportunities for college and career preparation
3.   To help drive youth membership
4.   Identify Youth Leaders for NAACP Youth Leadership Program
5.   Develop outreach with local colleges to encourage participation with NAACP
6.   Develop effective partnership with ACT-SO
7.   Work to identify College Students for membership ⁄ involvement
8.   Assess the need for a College ⁄ Young Adult Chapter
